Mayfair

Few periods in modern history have celebrated elegant, opulent living as well as Art Deco. To the international party ‘jetset’ of the 1920s, there were no more luxurious places than the lavishly decorated hotels of the time.

Art Deco is everywhere right now, marble surface treatments and gilt detailing harking back to the luxury of the era. 1920s luxury hotel chic is being reinvented, combined with both strong geometric patterns for a look that is opulent and incredibly elegant.

Textures Gold

We take a look at the techniques that define rug-making craft, revealing layering carved texture and space-dying to create unique effects on contemporary and traditional themes.

There is something fascinating about taking an inward look at our craft, but it is not introspection without intent. Revealing burgeoning trends that remain ‘below the radar’, there is purpose to the self-analysis of our occupation and our wish to be masters of our craft.

Palais

Attention to detail is second to none on these glorious silky soft flatweave chenille rugs.

Lavish your home with one of these divine rugs. Using an age old traditional pattern, each rug is intricately woven with this beautifully delicate weave.

The silky soft acrylic has a shimmering layer of intense shine that creates a metallic look. Soft plush fibres are woven to give a delicate feel and the colour is enhanced by the gentle distressed look. With a stain resistant protective surface to ensure longevity and ageless good looks.

Vintage Deco

Tuning into the unmistakable patterns and naturalistic decorations of the Art Nouveau period, this trend references signature designs, reworking palettes for a subdued contemporary edge fitting for modern homes.

A more fluid and naturalistic approach than the restrained geometrics of the Art Deco movement. Art Nouveau translates perfectly to modern living.

Beautiful repeating flourishes and artful recreations of flora, the period is enjoying a renaissance in interiors where pattern is fusing with contemporary palettes for a modern look.

;

New Jersey Print

Lavish colour displays and pearlescent feather effects, birds are driving a lush and opulent approach to interiors.

Brilliant petrol-like blues, vivid violets, ravishing reds and gorgeous greens, birds are one of nature’s colour wonders, inspiring beautiful textiles that bring a sense of luxury to the home.

First seen in home accessories – carefully placed peacock feathers replacing cut flowers for a prolonged dose of natural colour – bird motifs and feather interpretations are now firmly committed to fabrics and wallcoverings the country over.

;

Sultan
